North Shore Apothecary + Goods, 2017

In Fall 2017 I was commissioned to create a logo for North Shore Apothecary + Goods, a producer of ethically wildcrafted natural products, including body sprays, lip balms, healing salves, and skin toners (plus much more), based out of Georgian Bay, Ontario.

The logo was based on a handpainted sign that the owner, Emily, created when she started her business. I combined the rustic image of a rising sun from this sign with bold, expressive type that hearkens back to the era of Victorian apothecaries.
